St Mary’s College in Adelaide invites applications for the R-12 Futures and Pathways Leader. You will design and implement a whole‑school framework for career education, VET pathways and professional career coaching, collaborating with staff, families and industry partners to broaden student opportunities.

You will lead innovative career development, use student data to inform planning, provide personalised guidance and build staff capability to embed pathways across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Active teaching registration or eligible for it in South Australia.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary career development and education practices.
• Experience coordinating career education, VET and pathways.
• Ability to translate theory into meaningful student learning opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Lead a whole-school approach to career education and development.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Career Development and Education program.
• Use student data to identify needs and inform planning and initiatives.
• Provide career coaching and individual Career Plans for students.
• Support transitions into further education, training, apprenticeships or employment.
• Embed career education across the curriculum and build staff capability.
• Promote VET and flexible pathways, including apprenticeships and traineeships.
• Coordinate work experience and workplace learning for senior students.
• Build partnerships with universities, industry and the community.
