The Standard Market Company operates a premium gourmet retail destination at Gasworks Plaza, Newstead. We are seeking a hands-on Juice Bar Manager to lead the Quench team on a full-time basis.

You will oversee juice and gelato offerings, ensure exceptional service, and maintain high presentation standards. Ideal candidates have hospitality or retail experience, strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, fast food or retail juice/gelato outlets.
• Experience managing a small team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a vibrant store atmosphere.
• Craft high-quality fresh juices and smoothies, and maintain gelato/sorbet quality.
• Roster development, training and supervision of a small team.
• Oversee stock, ordering, and merchandising to keep displays vibrant.
• Oversee cash handling and maintain hygiene standards.

We are dedicated to offering an exceptional selection of fine foods with a strong focus on outstanding customer service, premium quality, and high presentation standards.

Within our business, we take immense pride in our award-winning QUENCH Juice Bars—vibrant hubs serving fresh juices, custom smoothies, gourmet sandwiches, and handcrafted gelato. We are experiencing exciting growth and are looking for a hands-on, energetic Juice Bar Manager to lead our Gasworks (Newstead) Quench team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Lead by example by delivering exceptional, welcoming service and creating a vibrant atmosphere for our customers.
• Operations & Product Quality: Craft high-quality fresh juices and smoothies, and serve our award-winning gelato and sorbet.
• Team Leadership: Roster development, training and managing of a small, fast-paced team.
• Stock & Inventory: Oversee product ordering, stock control, and merchandising to maintain vibrant display standards.
• Cash & Hygiene Standards: Handle register oversight, accurate cash handling, and maintain immaculate work and service areas.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Essential customer service background, with proven experience in hospitality, fast food, or retail juice/gelato outlets.
• Leadership: Prior experience managing or supervising a small team (highly desirable).
• Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, efficient under pressure, and capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Attributes: A bright, friendly personality with a strong team-first mindset.
