Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead the Golden Grove Quarry in South Australia. You will oversee operations, safety, environment, plant and equipment to meet annual targets while delivering customer outcomes.

You will manage day-to-day operations, drive continuous improvement, lead a team, and maintain a strong safety culture. A relevant qualification and proven leadership in a quarry setting are essential.

Strive, Develop and Succeed We are currently recruiting for an experienced a Quarry Manager to lead the team at our Golden Grove Quarry in South Australia. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager Aggregates, this leadership role is a multi-faceted role for someone looking for the next step in their career or looking to apply their existing skills and experience in an important role in a growing and exciting market. As the Quarry Manager, you will hold direct responsibility for all aspects of the operations focusing on safety, environment, plant, equipment to achieve annual financial targets whilst delivering on customer requirements and execution outcomes.

In your new role, you will be:
  • Managing the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for quarry development, environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, budgeting and managing costs within budget.
  • Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals.
  • Focused on continuing our approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation within the industry and community as a responsible and sustainable partner.
  • Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others.
