Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Quarry Production Supervisor to oversee daily mining and crushing operations, manage a team, and drive continuous improvement to meet production goals.

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will enforce safety and regulatory compliance, coordinate with maintenance, and maintain production records while pursuing cost efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quarry production activities, ensuring targets are met
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site
• Lead, train, and motivate quarry staff to maximise efficiency and teamwork
• Work closely with the Site Maintenance Supervisor to monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance, minimizing downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and report on performance metrics
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost‑effectiveness, and sustainability
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others

The Role

As a Quarry Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily mining & crushing operations to ensure the efficient and safe production of aggregates. You will manage a team, monitor production processes, and drive continuous improvement to meet business goals. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role will be multi‑faced and be responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and improvement.
