Job summary

Heidelberg Materials’ Red Hill Quarry is hiring a Quarry Maintenance and Mining Supervisor to oversee daily mining and crushing operations and coordinate the on-site stripping fleet. You will lead a team, monitor equipment, and drive continuous improvement to meet production targets while upholding safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires supervisory experience in quarrying/mining, a strong safety mindset, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarrying or mining with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to coach and develop frontline staff for maintenance enhancement.
• Strong focus on safety, risk management and Zero Harm.
• Proven planning, problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quarry production activities to meet targets.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations on site.

This role also carries the element of co-ordinating an on-site stripping fleet.
