Job summary

Boral is seeking a multi skilled Plant Operator for our Moy Pocket Quarry on the Sunshine Coast. You will ensure safe and proficient operation of mobile and fixed plant, including the front end loader and crushing plant, with a focus on quality and safety.

Ongoing mentoring, a permanent role, and a competitive hourly rate with overtime and allowances are offered. The team values safety, teamwork and accountability, and provides opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Multi skilled in mobile plant operation, including loaders.
• Licence or certification in plant operation is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in quarry environments is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the front end loader and quarry mobile plant as required.
• Safely operate the crushing plant.
• Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping on plants.
• Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in safety activities including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
