Job summary

Boral is hiring a Plant Operator for the Shadforth Quarry. This permanent, full-time role involves safely operating mobile and fixed plant, including front-end loaders and crushers, with a focus on quality and teamwork.

You will participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting, with ongoing mentoring from industry leaders and opportunities for continuous improvement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Dump Truck).
• Safely operate fixed and mobile crushing plants.
• Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping of plant.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Engage in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
