Heidelberg Materials is seeking a self-motivated Quarry Operator for the Canberra Quarry in Williamsdale, NSW. This permanent full-time role reports to the Quarry Manager and involves crushing plant operations, general maintenance, and weighbridge duties.
Typical start is 6am with overtime and occasional Saturday work. You will operate dump trucks, loaders, excavators and screening equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety, zero harm, and teamwork.
We’re on the lookout for a self-motivated Quarry Operator to join our team at the Canberra Quarry, located in Williamsdale! Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this is a permanent full-time position from Monday to Friday, there will be opportunities for overtime and Saturday work as required. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as be willing and able to work a varied operator role including crushing plant operations, general maintenance duties and weighbridge attendant.
You’ll also need to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites).
Some of our machinery have weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may need to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
