Job summary

Holcim Australia is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator for our Leongatha VIC quarry sites. You will work with Face Loaders and Excavators, ensuring safe operations and meeting output targets in a quarry/mining setting.

You must have hands-on experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, be flexible to cover all quarry activities, and prepared to work overtime. Long-term career growth and training opportunities are available within Holcim Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Face Loaders/Excavators with large-capacity equipment (e.g., Cat 988, Komatsu WA 600, Volvo L350).
• Experience with Front end loader operations.
• Dump truck operation experience.
• Watercart operation experience.
• Crushing and blending plant operation with basic maintenance.
• Familiar with quarry products and QA/manufacturing stockpiling processes.
• Quarry plant maintenance experience.
• Flexible to work across all quarry activities.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-start inspections on HME plant and equipment, identify problems and faults, and report them to maintain safe, consistent operation.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, productive quarry site through proactive checks and problem reporting.
