Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Quarry Operator for East Guyong Quarry, located between Orange and Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway, NSW. This permanent full-time role runs Monday to Friday, with ample overtime and potential Saturday work, offering a stable career in hard rock operations.

You will operate Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators, run crushing and screening plants, and assist with maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid tickets and experience operating Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
• Experience in quarrying is highly regarded.
• Total commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership.
• Adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised.
• Pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators.
• Operate crushing & screening plants.
• General fixed plant inspections & maintenance.
• Pitch in to perform any quarry tasks during busy periods.
