Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia seeks a Quarry Operator for the Axedale Sand & Gravel Quarry in VIC, approximately 2 hours north of Melbourne. This full-time role involves operating heavy machinery and performing daily maintenance, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

The ideal candidate will have solid interpersonal skills, a commitment to OH&S, and the ability to work within Heidelberg Materials Australia values. Quarrying or mining experience and relevant tickets are advantageous.

• Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavator, front end loader, dump truck & grader (experience preferred).
• Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling and general quarry maintenance.

Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Axedale Sand & Gravel Quarry in VIC, approx. 2 hours drive North of Melbourne CBD.

This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.

In your new role with us, you will:

• Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment
• Operate a heavy machinery such as excavator, front end loader, dump truck & grader. (Experience preferred)
• Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling and general quarry maintenance
