Job summary

Protech are seeking an experienced Plant Operator for an immediate start at a busy quarry operation located in Ormeau on the northern Gold Coast. This is a hands-on role suited to an operator with demonstrated quarry or mining experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to consistently achieve production and performance targets.

Pre-employment medical completed including Drug and Alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Experience operating mobile plant in quarry/mining/civil/heavy industry.
• Experience operating Loaders (with scales), Dump Trucks, or similar earthmoving equipment.
• Relevant mobile plant tickets or VOCs advantageous.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently within a quarry environment.
• Load, move and stockpile quarry materials in line with production requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel to support daily operations.
• Conduct pre-start checks and maintain a strong focus on safety and housekeeping.
• Follow site procedures and contribute to a productive team environment.
