Heidelberg Materials in Red Hill Quarry is seeking a Quarry Maintenance and Mining Supervisor to oversee daily mining and crushing maintenance, coordinate an on-site stripping fleet, and manage a team toward continuous improvement and safe production.

You will report to the Quarry Manager and supervise operations with a focus on maintenance enhancement, equipment monitoring, and production efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance and Zero Harm objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarrying, mining, or related industry; supervisory experience preferred.
• Coached and developed teams focused on maintenance enhancement and improvement.
• Strong working knowledge of crushing plants and heavy mobile equipment.
• Results-focused, self-motivated with a commitment to risk management and Zero Harm.
• Passion for customer service and achieving great results.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate quarry production activities to meet targets.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across site.
• Lead, train, and motivate quarry staff for efficiency and teamwork.
• Coordinate maintenance with Site Production Supervisor to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records and report performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Manage high-risk activities with a strong safety mindset.
