Job summary

NW Mining & Civil is seeking an all-rounder to support Isa Quarry with varied duties on a Mon-Fri schedule starting at 6am, 6-8 hours daily. The role offers exposure to quarry operations and admin tasks in a hands-on environment.

NW Mining & Civil are seeking an all rounder to assist at Isa Quarry with a range of duties, no two days will be the same!

Key responsibilities will include:

• Operate the quarry weighbridge accurately and efficiently
• Answer phone enquiries and provide front reception services
• Schedule and manage concrete bookings
• Process EFTPOS and over-the-counter sales
• Scan, file and maintain electronic and paper records
• Assist with stores purchasing and complete town runs as required
• Assist with general yard duties and housekeeping to ensure the site remains safe, clean and presentable
• Undertake miscellaneous duties to support the business and wider team

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and be willing to carry out any task that is thrown their way, along with having the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

There is opportunity for the right person to receive training and gain experience operating quarry machinery, including loaders and water carts.

Roster is Monday to Friday, starting at 6am each day, working 6-8 hours per day.

Pay rate is $41/hr.

Only applicants currently residing in Mt Isa will be considered for this work which would commence ASAP.
