Job summary

RP Infrastructure is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to provide pre-contract and post-contract expertise on building projects, including schools, hospitals and housing. You will monitor project costs, assess contractor claims and provide clear advice to support informed decisions throughout construction.

You will undertake measurements, support cost estimation, prepare bills of quantities, assess tenders and oversee contract administration with accurate cost records and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in measurement from drawings and specifications.
• Ability to assess variations and contractor claims.
• Strong understanding of building construction costs and contract processes.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking detailed measurements and quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Support cost estimation, prepare bills of quantities and assess tenders.
• Assess variations/claims and evaluate cost implications of changes.
• Oversee contract administration during delivery, maintain records and cost assessments.
• Prepare cost reports and track expenditure against budgets.
