Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the AUKUS team for the defence infrastructure project in Osborne, SA. You will manage budgets, cost planning and financial reporting while mitigating commercial risks to optimise project outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold MRICS or are working towards it, with 4+ years post-graduate experience in quantity surveying and a relevant Construction Management/Building/Engineering degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Attained or working towards MRICS.
• Minimum 4 years' post graduate experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Construction Management, Building, Engineering degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost planning, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities to optimise project outcomes.
• Oversee change management, claims, extensions of time and commercial entitlements.
• Build and maintain strong client, stakeholder and supply chain relationships while influencing successful project delivery.
