CC INTERNATIONAL Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning strategic insights consultancy in Melbourne to hire an early-career researcher. You’ll work with leading Australian brands, learn from experienced researchers and develop your quantitative and consulting capabilities.

You’ll gain exposure to varied brand challenges, direct client interaction, and AI-enabled research methods while developing your storytelling and research delivery skills.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in quantitative market research or related consulting.
  • Degree in psychology, marketing, business, anthropology or related field.
  • Experience with pack testing, concept testing and tracking studies.
  • Exposure to more complex methodologies (PPA / Usage & Attitude) is a plus.
  • Interest in Jobs to Be Done thinking and AI-enabled research.

Responsibilities

  • Play an important role across ongoing trackers and ad hoc research projects.
  • Manage sampling, quotas, weighting and external fieldwork partners.
  • Use primary and secondary data to uncover meaningful consumer stories.
  • Work directly with clients and build strong relationships.
  • Coordinate projects internally and with clients to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Apply Jobs to Be Done thinking to understand the challenge behind each brief.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to support efficient, accurate research delivery.
  • Turn findings into clear insights that help clients answer important business questions.

What You'll Bring
  • Around 1-3 years' experience in quantitative market research, insights or a related consulting environment
  • A relevant qualification in psychology, marketing, business, anthropology or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience with methodologies such as pack testing, concept testing and tracking studies
  • Ideally, exposure to more complex methodologies such as PPA and Usage & Attitude studies
  • An understanding of NPS and an interest in Jobs to Be Done thinking
  • Experience using Q, or the ability to learn new analysis platforms quicklyCreative thinking and genuine curiosity about the story behind the data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and project coordination skills
  • A growth-focused mindset and genuine appetite for learning, feedback and career development
  • An interest in how AI is changing research and a willingness to build your capability in this area
