Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator at our Cobram manufacturing site, where you will build your quality systems expertise and contribute to a leading food manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll maintain site quality systems and ensure finished products meet SDA’s quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent.
• Previous working experience in quality or similar role.
• Dairy industry or food manufacturing experience.
• Sound knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Support internal GMP audits and external audits to ensure quality standards are maintained to regulatory requirements.
• Investigate all areas of non-conformance and provide recommended outcomes and corrective actions.
• Maintain the Quality Management system ensuring all documents are up to date.
• Provide technical expertise and promote continuous improvements on quality processes.
• Prepare and deliver quality training, including CCP & QCP training.
• Maintain high-level communication and working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.

• Support internal, GMP audits and support external audits to ensure quality standards are maintained to regulatory requirements.
• Investigate all areas of non-conformance and provide recommended outcomes & corrective actions.
• Maintain the Quality Management system ensuring all documents are up to date.
• Provide technical expertise and promote continuous improvements on quality processes.
• Prepare and deliver quality training, including annual presentations CCP & QCP training.
• Maintaining high-level communication and working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent.
• Previous working experience in quality or similar role.
• Dairy industry or food manufacturing experience.
• Sound knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
