Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking an IT Technical Specialist - Regional Support to join our Applications team, supporting a diverse portfolio of bespoke and commercial business applications.

This newly created role strengthens a small, highly capable team responsible for systems that support manufacturing, milk collection, supplier payments and other critical business operations. You will spend 70% on application support and 30% on projects and enhancements.

• Significant experience supporting enterprise or business-critical applications.
• Strong C# and .NET development experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in complex application environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and own resolution end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor and maintain business-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Deliver system enhancements, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with business stakeholders and technology vendors.
• Manage user access, system administration, maintenance and governance.
• Contribute to project delivery, solution design and technical recommendations.
• Ensure systems remain secure, compliant and fit for purpose.

How you will make contributions that matter

Join Saputo Dairy as an IT Technical Specialist - Regional Support. You will join our Applications team supporting a diverse portfolio of bespoke and commercial business applications.

This newly created role strengthens a small, highly capable team responsible for systems that support manufacturing, milk collection, supplier payments and other critical business operations.

Working across a mix of application support (70%) and projects and enhancements (30%), you'll play a key role in maintaining, improving and evolving critical systems that keep the business running.

Key responsibilities

• Support, monitor and maintain business-critical applications.

About You

You are a technically capable applications specialist who enjoys solving complex problems, supporting critical systems and working closely with the business to deliver practical technology solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Significant experience supporting enterprise or business-critical applications.
• Strong C# and .NET development experience.

• Experience working within complex application environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership through to resolution.

Preferred Experience

• Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services.
• Azure cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
• APIs, integrations and web services.
• Manufacturing, operational or production environments.
• Bespoke or custom-built applications.
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
