Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia in Cobram is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to strengthen site quality programs and ensure finished products meet regulatory standards. You will audit readiness, maintain the Quality Management System, lead training on CCP/HACCP, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and QA teams. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent.
• Previous working experience in quality or similar role.
• Dairy industry or food manufacturing experience.
• Sound knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site Quality Management System ensuring documents are up to date.
• Support internal GMP audits and external audits to regulatory requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical expertise and promote continuous improvements on quality processes.
• Prepare and deliver quality training, including CCP & QCP training.
• Maintain high-level communication with other departments and stakeholders.

Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Quality Systems Coordinator at our Cobram manufacturing site - a great opportunity to step into a key quality role where you'll build your systems expertise and make a real impact in a leading food manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining site quality systems and ensuring finished products meet SDA's quality and compliance standards.

Support internal, GMP audits and support external audits to ensure quality standards are maintained to regulatory requirements.

Investigate all areas of non-conformance and provide recommended outcomes & corrective actions.

Maintain the Quality Management system ensuring all documents are up to date.

Provide technical expertise and promote continuous improvements on quality processes.

Prepare and deliver quality training, including annual presentations CCP & QCP training.

Maintaining high-level communication and working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent.

Previous working experience in quality or similar role.

Dairy industry or food manufacturing experience.

Sound knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
