Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is hiring a Quality Systems Administrator for our Leongatha manufacturing site. You will help maintain and strengthen our Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation and customer requirements.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll collaborate with Quality, Production and other teams across the site. You will drive quality improvements, manage documentation, coordinate audits and support corrective actions, with strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in dairy, food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance management systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis and process control.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing management and improvement of quality standards, procedures and systems.
• Participate in regulatory, accreditation and customer audits; communicate findings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Maintain the Non-Conformance Register and support timely corrective actions.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms and other system documentation.
• Coordinate HACCP reviews, including preparation, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Maintain the site Quality Master Plan and related documents.
• Prepare quality system performance summaries for reporting and reviews.
• Support change control processes and monitor compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the Quality team and site.

How you will make contributions that matter

Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Quality Systems Administrator at our Leongatha manufacturing site, where you’ll play an important role in maintaining and strengthening our Quality Management Systems.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll help ensure our systems continue to meet regulatory, accreditation and customer requirements while partnering closely with Quality, Production and other teams across the site.

You will:

• Support the ongoing management and improvement of quality standards, procedures and systems

• Participate in regulatory, accreditation and customer audits, communicating findings and coordinating follow-up actions

• Maintain the Non-Conformance Register and support the timely completion of corrective actions

• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms and other system documentation

• Coordinate HACCP reviews, including preparation, documentation and follow-up actions

• Maintain the site Quality Master Plan

• Prepare quality system performance summaries to support reporting and reviews

• Contribute to continuous improvement across the Quality team and broader site

About you

You’re an experienced quality professional who is comfortable working with quality systems, documentation and compliance requirements within a manufacturing environment.

You will ideally bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science or an equivalent qualification

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

• Experience within dairy, food manufacturing or another FMCG environment

• Knowledge and experience in food safety and quality assurance management systems

• Experience with root cause analysis and an understanding of process control

• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

• Experience developing quality and food safety training programs would be highly regarded
