Job summary

DroneShield Limited in Sydney seeks a seasoned Quality Systems and Compliance Lead to govern the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and AQAP standards. You will drive audits, certify programs, and coordinate governance across the organisation.

You will maintain documentation, monitor system maturity, and lead corrective actions while liaising with leadership on compliance obligations and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Science or related.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification or equivalent auditing certification.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AQAP 2110 and AQAP 2210.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing or maintaining quality management systems within defence, aerospace, manufacturing, engineering or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting certification, surveillance, customer and regulatory audits.
• Strong understanding of management system governance, compliance management, risk management and assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure compliance with ISO and other standards.
• Coordinate responses to certification audits and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop and manage the enterprise audit programme and report findings.
• Control documents and records, ensuring traceability and retention requirements.
• Establish governance processes and monitor management system risks and opportunities.
