Pure's Food Specialties, LLC. is seeking a Third Shift Quality Supervisor to oversee all quality control activities, lead a team of inspectors, and ensure products meet regulatory and customer standards.

The role focuses on training, audits, and corrective actions to uphold high quality across production. Responsibilities include supervising staff, applying Statistical QC/SPC methods, and maintaining SQF compliance on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of experience in a food manufacturer and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs and SQF standards.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, guide, evaluate, and assist subordinates on a daily basis by setting goals and objectives.
• Train others in Statistical Quality Control and Statistical Process Control.
• Assist in daily lab operations and address issues as they arise.
• Maintain and coordinate total quality practices within the Quality Control Department.
• Spend 95% of time on the production floor working with technicians and plant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with SQF and other relevant standards.

The third shift quality supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within a company, ensuring that products and services consistently meet established standards, comply with regulations, and satisfy customer requirements by leading a team of quality inspectors, conducting audits, identifying quality issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high product quality across the production process.

Role And Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, evaluate, and assist subordinates in their daily performance by setting goals and objectives.
• Have practical knowledge and ability to train others in Statistical Quality Control and Statistical Process Control
• Assists in the day-to-day operation of the lab as well as address issues accordingly.
• Maintains and coordinates total quality practices within the Quality Control Department.
• Will play significant role in day- to-day operations and will spend 95% of their time on the production floor working with technicians and plant personnel.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on company needs
• Ensures compliance with SQF and other relevant standards.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Three plus years of experience in a food manufacturer and successful management/supervisory experience.

Preferred Skills

• Understands the importance of all quality aspects of the food industry including, but not limited to; personal GMP's, lot code tracking, product quality monitoring, audit records and recall procedure
• Bilingual l (English/Spanish).
• Highly self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with ability to improve and promote quality.

Salary Description

60,000-70,000 Yearly
