Job summary

Healthcare Australia in Mackay seeks a full-time Quality Manager to enhance clinical governance across two aged care homes. You will translate audit findings and resident feedback into practical improvements, while coaching teams and supporting accreditation efforts.

You are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and at least three years’ experience in aged care or quality roles, with strong auditing, implementation and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three years’ experience in aged care, healthcare quality, governance or compliance.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
• Experience in clinical auditing, accreditation prep and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen clinical governance and monitor quality and compliance across two homes.
• Coordinate accreditation prep, audit evidence and corrective actions.
• Conduct clinical audits on medication management, infection prevention, care planning, falls and wounds.
• Analyze quality data to identify risks and priorities for improvement.
• Coach staff in governance, quality and compliance; prepare risk reports for leadership.
