Quality Manager – Visy (Shepparton, Australia)

Overview

As Quality Manager you will lead all aspects of site, product and food safety quality, manufacturing compliance and continuous improvement. You will embed a culture of coaching, mentoring and driving rapid resolution of quality issues, ensuring the site is always audit‑ready.

Responsibilities

• Lead site and product quality, food safety and manufacturing compliance.
• Embed continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and RCA.
• Drive resolution of quality issues, lead investigations and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Serve as technical lead connecting the site, customers, suppliers and regulators.
• Manage key quality programs, audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues.
• Support operational performance and embed robust systems that lift site capability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quality leadership role in manufacturing.
• Strong skills in coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, HACCP, FSSC and customer standards.
• Experience managing audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues.
• Strong RCA, error‑proofing and problem‑solving capability.
• High proficiency with quality systems (SFOL, OFS/Buffey, SAP, MS Office).
• Values aligned to Visy and ability to build strong internal/external relationships.
• Qualifications in Quality Management or similar.
• Technical capability adaptable to complex manufacturing environments.
