Job summary

Newly Weds Foods Australia & New Zealand is seeking 2 Quality Leads for Afternoon (2:00pm–10:00pm) and Night (10:00pm–6:00am) shifts. The role reports to the Site Quality Manager, partners with Production, and leads quality activities, non-conformances, and compliance across the site.

Ideal candidates will have proven QA leadership, HACCP/GMP/BRCGS knowledge, and strong communication to drive continuous improvement and a quality culture among the team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team coaching/mentoring abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound problem-solving capabilities for quality issues and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Experience handling non-conformances and conducting quality audits.

Responsibilities

• Shift Supervision: assign and prioritise tasks on shift, support quality issues, and escalate to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials and finished products to meet quality standards.
• Maintain quality systems, records, and compliance reporting for the site quality team.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits for HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a strong food safety culture across the site.
