Job summary

Techtronic Industries Australia & New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Incoming Quality Control Manager, you will conduct inspections, investigate quality concerns, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet high standards across the ANZ market.

You will work with warehouse and inbound teams, document results, prepare reports, and collaborate with engineering, product management and Asia-based teams to drive

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality inspection, quality control, engineering or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, discrepancies and quality concerns.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Experience maintaining accurate inspection, testing and quality records.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual, physical and functional inspections of incoming products, accessories and equipment.
  • Perform product testing using measurement tools and testing equipment to assess compliance with quality specifications.
  • Document inspection results, test outcomes and non-conformances in accordance with established quality procedures.
  • Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, Product Management and other key stakeholders.
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
  • Work closely with warehouse, inventory and inbound teams to support IQC operations.
  • Assist with rework projects, including training and supervising temporary staff when required.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Help maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality team.

Reporting to the Incoming Quality Control Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring products meet the high-quality standards expected across the ANZ market. You’ll conduct inspections, investigate quality concerns, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with teams locally and across Asia to help deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Day-to-Day

What We’re Looking For?

You’re hands-on, detail-oriented and passionate about quality. You enjoy solving problems, identifying improvement opportunities and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.

Experience in quality inspection, quality control, engineering or a related field

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, discrepancies and quality concerns

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to investigate quality issues and implement effective corrective actions

Experience maintaining accurate inspection, testing and quality records

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams

Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
