Job summary

Adbri Limited in Australia’s Cement & Lime division seeks a senior Quality leader to own the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with Adbri standards, ISO 9001 and customer specifications while driving continuous product and process improvement.

Reporting to the Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer, you will lead the QC/QA function, maintain NATA accreditation, develop the regional quality strategy and mentor a team of engineers and a lab manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in technical/quality roles within cement, lime, concrete or related manufacturing industries.
• Proven people leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor and drive performance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable information.
• Genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Quality Control and Quality Assurance for Cement & Lime.
• Oversee product management for internal and external SA and NT customers.
• Investigate and resolve field product quality issues and customer complaints.
• Drive raw material sourcing optimization to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide technical leadership on cementitious, concrete and lime-related matters.
• Maintain laboratory NATA accreditation and lead central and remote laboratory teams.
• Lead, coach and develop a team including 3 Quality Control Engineers/Business Partners and a Lab Manager.
• Drive the regional Innovation Strategy, including plant trials and product development.
• Champion a strong safety culture through visible leadership.
