ChoiceOne seeks a Quality Manager to lead quality and food safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with operations to strengthen systems and drive improvements for customers and production.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will maintain certification standards, resolve quality concerns and ensure products meet customer specifications, while shaping quality practices as the business grows.

Qualifikationen

• Five years’ experience as a Quality Lead or Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP or BRCGS.
• Strong audit, incident investigation, corrective action and continuous improvement experience.
• A relevant degree or diploma in Quality Management, Food Science, Engineering, WHS, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence operational teams.
• Desirable: Internal audit or HACCP qualification.
• Desirable: Familiarity with SAP.

Aufgaben

• Lead quality assurance and food safety activities across manufacturing and laboratory operations.
• Maintain quality systems, product specifications, process controls and testing procedures.
• Coordinate audits and support certification and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate quality incidents and customer concerns, identify root causes and manage corrective actions.
• Work with production teams to strengthen GMP and quality practices.
• Maintain inspection and equipment calibration programs.
• Report quality performance and improvement opportunities to site leadership.
• Support safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
