1673 ACCIONA CONSTRUCTION AUSTRALIA PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with experience in electrical or civil scopes to support our Energy Hubs and Substations team. The role starts in the Sydney CBD project office with periodic site visits, transitioning to a DIDO on-site roster as the project advances.

You will review client specs, develop ITPs/ITCs, manage NCRs, and ensure QA processes meet ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in multidiscipline infrastructure, or renewable energy, or substation-style projects.
• Quality Management Systems experience per ISO 9000/ISO 9001.
• Ability to review statistical data to identify quality problems.
• Experience providing training in best practices for production quality.
• Experience using quality inspection tools/software to support QA inspections.
• Prepare and update project quality documentation per AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 requirements.

Responsabilités

• Review client specifications and develop ITPs & ITCs reflecting client requirements.
• Ensure ITPs/ITCs are high quality across projects.
• Provide ongoing project quality reporting to team or client.
• Open, monitor and close work lots systematically.
• Formulate NCRs with sufficient detail for quick resolution.
• Coordinate with client QA and attend weekly QA meetings.
• Supervise/perform detailed assessments of products and components.
• Develop and monitor the Project’s Quality Management Plan.
• Conduct off-site manufacturing audits and inspections per specs.
• Maintain the project’s quality audit schedule.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support project teams in applying quality standards day-to-day.
• Oversee fabrication processes to meet client specs.
• Conduct cross-project quality audits.
