Metso seeks a Quality Engineer to lead end‑to‑end management of customer claims across the region, combining engineering rigor with claim coordination excellence. You will drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and regional quality improvements within a cross‑functional team.

The role requires hands‑on interpretation of metallurgical and material evidence, familiarity with ISO 9001 and SAP QM, and collaboration with Market Areas, Supply Chain, and Engineering. Travel 20–30% is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Flexible experience in quality engineering, failure analysis, or root cause investigation in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience interpreting material and dimensional evidence (metallurgy, rubber/PU degradation, welding, fastener failure).
• Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001, CAPA processes, 8D methodology, and RCA techniques.
• Experience with SAP (QM/SD/MM), Salesforce CRM, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Own technical case intake and assess evidence to scope investigations.
• Lead failure analysis using metallurgical and dimensional data with Plant Engineering.
• Manage case closing, aging tracking, and CAPA execution end-to-end.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why methodologies.
• Advise on design and product improvements from field evidence.
