Job summary

Squiz is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our east coast Australia team. You’ll contribute to automated and manual testing across the Squiz DXP, working with cross‑functional engineers and stakeholders in a collaborative, hybrid setup.

You will build and maintain test automation using TypeScript and Playwright, write clear test cases, and help validate fixes with engineering teams. This is a hands‑on role with growth opportunities and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software QA.
• Hands-on test automation experience (UI/E2E).
• Practical TS and Playwright experience.
• Experience with GitLab and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Help build out and maintain test automation suites including UI and E2E tests.
• Write effective test cases and perform manual testing for new features.
• Identify, investigate and report bugs to engineering teams.
• Reproduce issues with engineers and validate fixes before release.
• Support testing activities across the development lifecycle and environments.
