Job summary

Macquarie Group in Melbourne is seeking a Quality Engineer to champion software excellence on our real-time Payments Platform. You will lead test automation efforts, build automation frameworks, and drive quality strategies across interconnected systems.

You will collaborate with engineers to improve testing practices, integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure scalable quality across the platform. Payments experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated integration testing, API testing, and UI/web test automation.
• Agile mindset with interest in software engineering across technologies.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and concepts.
• Ability to champion quality at scale and integrate tests into CI/CD.
• Experience automating web services with Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI, or Karate.
• Experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions.
• Experience in performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner.
• Payments experience is a bonus.
