Job summary

CORTO is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Quality Engineering function within the Accounting group. You will help test AI-enabled accounting products, build automation, and improve QE practices in a fast-moving, product-heavy environment.

You’ll work with Senior QEs, developers, Product Managers and DevOps to ensure releases are reliable and scalable, contributing to automation across web apps and APIs and supporting AI-enabled features.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing across web apps and APIs.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated tests.
• Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript/Python.
• Experience with modern web/API automation tools.
• Understanding API testing: HTTP requests, responses, codes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, run, and maintain automated tests for web and API apps.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Test backend services and APIs, validate data and integrations.
• Investigate defects with developers and identify quality risks.
• Translate product requirements into test scenarios and coverage.
