Job summary

Suntory Oceania seeks a skilled Technical Writer to support the Swanbank beverage facility with audit readiness by creating controlled documents for packaging areas. This is a 12‑month fixed-term contract to deliver SOPs, templates, and training materials.

You will conduct interviews, gather records, and release controlled documents after iterative validation with operations and QA, ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Documentation writing experience in manufacturing or food/beverage packaging.
• Knowledge of GMP, sanitation procedures and SOP structure.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation and ability to convert observations into clear procedures.
• Experience with document control systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• HACCP & FSSC22000 experience (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of ISO/GLP and hygiene principles in manufacturing.
• Experience in food safety standards

Responsibilities

• Convert the Packaging Line Hygiene and Sanitation plan into a complete set of controlled documents (master cleaning schedules, SOPs, check sheets, training materials, process flow) for site implementation.
• Conduct site interviews, gather existing records, confirm stakeholders and templates.
• Produce SOPs, check sheets and training packs iteratively by area, with operations and QA validation.
• Conduct controlled document release and summary reporting.
