Job summary

Built is seeking a Digital & Quality Lead based in Adelaide to oversee quality management across digital design and engineering systems. You will embed QMS processes, drive continuous improvement, and shape the regional digital strategy to align with national priorities.

You will lead QA/QMS across BIM, CAD, and digital documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and fostering cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing QA/QMS processes and procedures within construction, engineering, or a related technical environment.
• Specialist knowledge of digital design and engineering workflows (e.g. BIM, CAD, digital documentation platforms)
• Strong understanding of relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19650, or equivalent)
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring digital design and engineering deliverables meet relevant industry standards, project requirements and best practice
• Develop, implement and audit quality assurance processes and controls across BIM, CAD, 3D modelling and digital documentation, including non‑conformance and corrective action management
• Lead the regional digital strategy and roadmap translating national priorities into state‑based initiatives that improve project delivery and align with the broader enterprise strategy
• Lead, mentor and develop digital systems and capability across the business driving consistent application, adoption and continuous improvement
• Establish and oversee digital design standards, workflows and quality control checkpoints to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance throughout the design lifecycle.

The Opportunity

Based at our South Australia Business Unit in Adelaide, as the Digital & Quality Lead you will be at the intersection of quality assurance and future‑focused digital engineering. In your role you’ll be responsible for ensuring that quality management processes and procedures are embedded across all our team’s digital design and engineering systems and outputs: helping to bring ideas to life and turning the virtual into reality.
