Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday, 09:00–17:06). You will apply RN expertise (AHPRA) to drive quality, compliance, and clinical governance across our new residential aged care residence.

The role requires knowledge of accreditation, policy protocols, and continuous improvement, with the ability to educate and mentor clinical staff to maintain 100% compliance with Quality Standards.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) is mandatory.
• Ideally 3+ years in aged care, preferably in a Quality role.
• Experience with quality assurance, accreditation, auditing and governance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in continuous improvement aligned with Aged Care Standards.
• Support compliance, policy implementation and auditing processes to achieve 100% compliance.
• Coordinate education and mentoring for clinical staff to uphold quality and safety.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the service delivery of For Purpose Aged Care into the future during a period of significant change in the aged care sector.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence.

You must be able to demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge of the aged care sector to be able to assist our homes with compliance and policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• AHPRA registration (RN) Mandatory
• Ideally, at least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a Quality role
• Demonstrated quality, compliance & clinical governance understanding
• Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance & auditing processes
• Must be able to easily learn new systems and technologies
• Continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis experience would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
• Be able to coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
• NDIS Clearance
