Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Sydney is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join a well-known national dairy manufacturer. This newly created, full-time role reports to the Quality Manager and offers a casual start with permanent opportunities.

Work hours are 08:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with on-site parking. Key duties include maintaining quality documentation, coordinating audits, handling NCRs, investigating complaints, developing HACCP documentation, and supporting external inspections and

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/Microbiology.
QA experience in the dairy/manufacturer is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, PRPs and FFSE.

Responsibilities

Maintain and control quality documentation, ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
Coordinate and participate in internal audits (GMP/PRP) and support continuous improvement.
Assist with external audits and certification requirements (Food Safety Excellence, Kosher, Halal).
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Investigate customer complaints and support root cause analysis and resolution.
Develop and maintain HACCP documentation for new products and shelf-life initiatives.
Create, review, and implement quality forms, records, and labeling used on the floor.
Conduct mock recalls and regular food safety verification activities.
