Job summary

HelloFresh in Australia is seeking a Quality Control Officer based in Jandakot, Perth, to support the QC Lead and uphold food safety across assembly lines. Immediate start with permanent full-time work in a dynamic, global food-technology environment.

You will coordinate QA checks, mentor the QC team, manage stock and supplier processes, and drive improvements across the Quality Management System while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in QA or QC role.
• Solid understanding of HACCP/GMP in food manufacturing.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Job Description

As our new Quality Control Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest quality meal kits. Based in our Jandakot distribution centre, you will support the QC Lead in maintaining food safety standards and overseeing the smooth operation of our assembly lines.

This role is based in Jandakot, Perth and reporting to the QC Lead.

You will…

• Coordinate daily quality assurance and food safety compliance checks.
• Lead and support the QC team during your shift with day-to-day operations.
• Support supplier management, stock rejections, and stock management processes.
• Investigate, document, and report non-conformances in line with our standards.
• Oversee pest control and cleaning contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve our Quality Management System.

You have…

• At least 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role.
• A sound understanding of Food Safety standards (HACCP/GMP) within food manufacturing.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with a mentoring mindset.
