Job summary

AIM Lab Automation Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to champion quality control processes. The inspector will inspect incoming and outgoing products, resolve quality issues, and maintain quality system functions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in a similar role and experience in various manufacturing processes. This position may involve a mix of in-office and remote work, depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar quality role.
• Engineering trade background or strong production experience.
• Experience with metal machining, sheet metal forming, metal casting, plastic moulding and forming.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T & metrology techniques is an advantage.
• Experience using measuring equipment and ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.
• Ability to multi-task with an eye for detail.
• Capability to work individually or as a team to consistently deliver results.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949).
• Exposure to lean manufacturing and/or continuous process improvement concepts.
• Experience with cable manufacturing, PCBs and electronics highly valued.
• Experience using Oracle Cloud; Agile PLM is an advantage.
