Job summary

Yokohama Tyre Australia seeks a Quality & Compliance Manager to lead national quality management systems and WH&S protocols for Yokohama and Tyres and More stores. You will conduct audits, manage training, and maintain document control in line with Yokohama Rubber global standards.

The role requires 5–7 years in QA/QC within automotive/manufacturing/logistics, strong audit experience, and the ability to drive safety culture while traveling nationwide to warehouses and service centres.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in QA/QC role, preferably automotive/manufacturing/logistics.
• Strong background in Quality Management Systems and internal audits.
• Experience establishing document control systems and versioning protocols.
• Lead auditing qualification and knowledge of Australian WH&S acts and tyre industry regulations.
• Ability to influence Store/Site Managers and staff to adopt safety cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead national internal audits across sites (warehouses and service centres).
• Maintain and improve quality frameworks aligned with global Yokohama standards.
• Utilise SAP to manage quality notifications, audit findings, and reports.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Chair the head office WH&S committee.
• Develop and deliver staff training via the in-house training system.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and regulators.
• Monitor and report site safety metrics to senior leadership.
