Job summary

Rauland Australia and New Zealand is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Product and Engineering team in Melbourne to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the software powering communication and workflow systems across hospitals and aged care facilities.

You will develop, maintain, and execute test plans, perform functional, regression, and performance testing, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and delivery teams to release high-quality software in an agile

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines (desirable).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capability.
• A proactive mindset and passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reporting to support release decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Delivery teams throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring requirements are clear and testable.
