Job summary

The Government Recruitment Service advertises a Permanent, full-time Technical Quality Coach - Commercial in Stirling. You will deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme and provide coaching and technical support to improve testing quality and consistency.

Working with DVSA colleagues and ATFs, you will analyse data, support investigations, and help ensure safe, fair testing outcomes across the national operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme to ensure compliance with DVSA standards, policies and operating instructions.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
• Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs), providing technical assurance and recommendations to support service delivery.
• Contribute to the Quality Centre of Excellence by promoting continuous improvement and service excellence.
