Job summary

The Salvation Army in Sydney seeks a permanent, full-time Quality & Compliance Manager – Vocational Training to uphold the National VET Quality Framework and ensure robust regulatory compliance across RTO operations.

Reporting to the General Manager Vocational Training, you will develop and implement RTO systems, policies and audits, support trainers, and manage contracts with government and partner organisations.

Qualifications

• TAE4022 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Relevant tertiary qualification or Diploma of Quality Auditing or equivalent.
• Understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and ESOS Act.

Responsibilities

• Ensure RTO operations meet the National VET Quality Framework.
• Support the development and implementation of RTO systems, policies, and procedures.
• Manage contracts and agreements with government and partner organisations.
• Oversee preparation and management of internal and external audits.
• Manage the development of training and assessment resources.
• Conduct quality reviews and validations for training programs and centres and relay regulatory requirements and compliance issues to management.
• Provide support and professional development for trainers and assessors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a permanent, full time opportunity to appoint a Quality & Compliance Manager Vocational Training based in Sydney, enjoying flexible hybrid working conditions. Reporting directly to the General Manager Vocational Training we seek an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager with proven VET experience to ensure our commitment to quality and regulatory compliance remains strong and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a senior RTO management role within Vocational Education & Training sector.

You have a strong compliance and quality background and a solid understanding of Vocational education and training (VET) Quality Framework.

To be successful in this role you will also require:

• TAE4022 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Relevant tertiary qualification or Diploma of Quality Auditing or equivalent
• Strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015, ESOS Act
• Demonstrated experience in compliance audits and quality assurance.
• Prior experience with student management systems and learning management systems.
