Job summary

Hindmarsh Plumbing, part of the Sarah Group, is seeking experienced construction plumbers to join our Perth operations in Western Australia. You will install complex commercial plumbing systems on new builds and fit-outs to high standards.

Applicants should hold a WA Plumbing Licence (WA Gasfitting Licence desirable), a current driver’s licence, and a Construction Industry Safety Card, with at least 3 years’ experience in commercial plumbing.

Qualifications

• Hold a current WA Plumbing Licence (Required).
• Gasfitting licence (Desirable).
• Current unrestricted WA Driver’s Licence and a valid Construction Industry Safety Card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction plumbing.
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards, especially AS3500, and plan interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex commercial plumbing installations across diverse new builds and fit-out environments.
• Handle precise placement and connection of pipework, fixtures, and equipment.
• Execute drainage, pipe laying, and civil plumbing in line with site requirements.
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and technical specs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams to ensure quality outcomes.

The Role

As an integral member of the Construction Team, you will execute high-standard installations across new builds and fit-outs while maintaining strict compliance with project timelines.

• Perform complex commercial plumbing installations across diverse new builds and fit-out environments.
• Handle the precise placement and connection of pipework, fixtures, specialised equipment, and overarching plumbing systems.
• Execute comprehensive drainage, pipe laying, and civil plumbing services installation in alignment with site requirements.
• Accurately read and interpret complex construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary site teams and co-workers to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality project outcomes.

About You

You are a motivated, safety-conscious plumber who takes pride in your trade execution and possesses the core technical background required for large-scale commercial environments.

• Hold a current Western Australia Plumbing Licence (Required), alongside a current Western Australian Gasfitting Licence (Desirable).
• Possession of a current unrestricted Western Australia Driver’s Licence and a valid Construction Industry Safety Card.
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience working within commercial construction plumbing.
• A strong, practical understanding of Australian Standards, specifically AS3500 compliance and plan interpretation.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety, quality assurance, and proactive teamwork.
