Job summary

Nova Smash Repairs Pty Ltd in East Perth, WA is seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic for a full-time role. You will diagnose, repair and service vehicles, dismantle engines and components, and test repairs using diagnostic tools.

The role requires a Trade Certificate 3 in Automotive and 1–2 years of experience, with a valid driver’s license and strong teamwork. The successful candidate will join a well-established workshop operating since 1995, offering a competitive salary of $85,000–$100,000

Qualifications

• Trade qualification completed with Automotive focus.
• Two years’ relevant work experience or more.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritise work.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Dismantle engines, transmissions and components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tune ups.
• Test parts with diagnostic tools and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Advise on repair work and ensure vehicle handover.
• Maintain OH&S standards in the workshop.
• Assist with stock ordering and workshop duties.

Education

Trade Certificate 3 in Automotive or Overseas equivalent
