Qualifications

• Automotive mechanic qualification or equivalent certification.

Trustee for Bond Main Family Trust – Southport QLD

We are seeking a Qualified Reilable Mechanic to join our small team. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic automotive environment where your expertise and technical knowledge will be valued. As a Qualified Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. This position is based on-site in Southport area and will require your presence at our workshop location.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify mechanical faults using both diagnostic equipment and practical testing methods
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups and general servicing
• Repair and replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and provide customers with detailed reports of findings and recommended repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used and time spent on each job
• Follow all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair timelines, costs and vehicle condition
• Keep the workshop clean and organised, maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
• Stay current with new vehicle technologies and repair techniques through ongoing professional development
• We need someone to be able to run the business when the owners are unavailable

What we're looking for

• Current automotive mechanic qualification or equivalent recognised certification
