Job summary

JA Ridgley Building Pty Ltd – Hervey Bay QLD is seeking a committed, full-time Cert III Carpenter to join our small local team, delivering high-quality residential renovations and builds on site. You will work hands-on, ensuring precise workmanship and timely progress across projects.

You will be part of a close-knit crew, lead by example and collaborate with peers to maintain safety and quality, with all local work within 30 minutes of Hervey Bay.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Cert III Carpenter with experience across all aspects of residential building
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable and punctual, a team player who communicates well
• Living in Australia and able to operate in the Hervey Bay region

Responsibilities

• On-the-tools carpentry work across residential builds within the Hervey Bay area

We’re a small, local team based in Hervey Bay specialising in high-quality custom residential renovations and custom residential new builds. We’re proud of the standard of our work and we’re looking for someone who feels the same way about theirs. We work with clients who care about the result, which means we need people who do too.

We are requiring a committed, full-time team member who’s in it for the long haul, someone who takes ownership of their work and wants to grow with us.

ABOUT YOU

• Fully qualified Cert III Carpenter with experience across all aspects of residential building
• Self-motivated and takes pride in the quality of their work
• Comfortable working within a small team - both leading an apprentice and taking direction
• Good level of fitness is required – we do all of it, working at heights, lifting etc
• This is an on-the-tools role, not supervisory

THE ROLE

All work is local - every job is within half an hour of Hervey Bay. No long drives, no overnights.

We also offer genuine opportunities to learn and upskill within the company as we grow.
