Job summary

B-MAC Constructions in Sydney is seeking a Qualified Carpenter for commercial refurbishments, high-end residential, refurbishment and remedial projects. You will read plans, perform finishing work, and collaborate with Site Managers and trades to deliver quality results.

We offer varied projects across Sydney, strong workload, competitive remuneration based on experience, uniforms, paid training and licences paid by B-MAC. Employer sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• White Card required.
• Ability to obtain Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Current lawful rights to work in Australia.
• Commercial/high-end residential refurbishment or remedial experience highly regarded.

Qualified Carpenter - Commercial, High-End Residential, Refurbishment & Remedial

B-MAC Constructions has been operating for over 25 years and is looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter who takes pride in their work, turns up when they say they will and can be trusted to get on with the job.

We have a strong pipeline of upcoming work, with the majority of projects across Sydney and occasional work on the Central Coast, including commercial construction, high-end residential, refurbishment and remedial projects.

What you'll be doing

• commercial refurbishment and alterations
• high-end residential carpentry and finishing work
• general carpentry and finishing work
• remedial and repair works
• working from plans and specifications
• solving practical construction problems
• working alongside Site Managers and other trades
• maintaining site safety, quality and documentation

What we're looking for

• is a qualified and experienced carpenter
• is punctual and reliable
• takes pride in quality workmanship
• has strong attention to detail
• can think ahead and work independently
• takes responsibility for their work
• works safely and professionally around clients and other trades

You won't need someone standing over you all day. If you're given a task, we want to know you'll take ownership of it and ask when you need help.
