Job summary

Tailored Cabinetry is a Gold Coast-based commercial joinery manufacturer supplying shopfitters, builders and commercial clients across Australia. The role involves factory-based manufacture and assembly of a wide range of joinery, with a focus on accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.

You will read plans confidently, work independently, and contribute to a strong project pipeline with CNC-equipped workshop facilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified cabinetmaker/joiner required.
• Experience in factory manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read detailed shop drawings.

• Produce reception counters and POS units.
• Create display units and feature joinery.
• Manufacture office and commercial cabinetry.

Qualified Cabinetmaker / Joiner – Factory Based

You'll be involved in the manufacture and assembly of a wide variety of commercial joinery. The role is predominantly factory-based and would suit someone who takes pride in their work, can read plans confidently and can work independently without needing to be constantly supervised.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and assembly of retail and shopfitting joinery
• Production of reception counters and POS units
• Creation of display units and feature joinery
• Manufacture of office and commercial cabinetry
• Production of detailed and custom joinery
• Assembly and preparation for interstate deliveriesReading and working from detailed shop drawings
• Quality checking completed work prior to dispatch

• Qualified Cabinetmaker / Joiner
• Solid factory manufacturing experience
• Can confidently read plans and shop drawings
• Produces accurate, high-quality work
• Can work independently and solve problems
• Understands commercial joinery and tight deadlines
• Takes responsibility for their own work

• Keeps workspace organised
• Commercial/shopfitting experience is highly regarded

$38-$42/hr + super, depending on experience and capability
